SLO Farmer’s Market
This was a project to promote a public event or space available to residents of San Luis Obispo. I chose to create promotional poster for the weekly farmers market in Downtown SLO on Higuera Street. The poster and trifold brochure were created to promote the weekly market as well as local farmers. The idea was to make a poster worthy of collecting and using as art in the attendees homes.

Every week, performers of all kinds come and post up on the side streets to entertain the attendees as they shop and eat. My goal was to showcase the products and the entertainment equally. The hanging fruit is reminiscent of the vendors stalls as well as a theatrical sign to represent the performers. This was a fun opportunity to practice hand lettering and photography at the local stands.
